What is Watch Party?
Watch Party is a feature that allows participants in a multiplayer room to watch a YouTube video together that is being displayed by the room host.
Since each participant opens the same YouTube video on their own device, this is not a screen sharing feature.
I want to watch YouTube videos alone
Even in a multiplayer room, the video will not be shown to other participants unless it is shared.
I want to watch YouTube videos together
In a multiplayer room, only the room host can share the YouTube video they are currently displaying.
I want to play or share a YouTube playlist
A YouTube playlist page may open, but WatchParty does not support continuous playback or sharing of playlists.
Please open each video individually to watch or share.
I want to share pages other than YouTube
Currently, Watch Party only supports YouTube.
Since playback methods and technical specifications differ depending on the video platform, other websites are not supported.
I want to sync playback position or pause
Playback, pause, seek bar operations, and volume changes are not synchronized with other participants.
I want to watch at the same playback position as others
Full synchronization of playback position is not supported.
If the video is played continuously without interruption, participants can watch at approximately the same position.
I opened a page other than YouTube
If you navigate to a page other than YouTube while sharing, Watch Party sharing will stop.
The video cannot be played
Depending on YouTube settings, regional restrictions, or network conditions, some videos such as live streams may not be playable.
No audio from YouTube (Windows)
If you cannot hear YouTube audio in a Multi Room or your own room, the issue may be related to your Windows Volume Mixer settings.
Please open the Windows Volume Mixer and check whether "Vuplex 3D WebView" is muted.
Unmuting it may resolve the issue.
